Si solo quieres playa, también tenemos day pass.

¿Armamos tus días en Roatán?

Roatán is much more than West Bay. Within a few miles you have coral reef minutes from shore, crystal-clear keys, forest with sloths and monkeys, and Garifuna communities with centuries of history. These are the tours we recommend most and how to combine them.

On the water

  • Dolphin encounter: on a Sandy Bay key, a naturalist introduces you to a family of bottlenose dolphins. Ages 3+. If you are comfortable with mask and fins, you can also swim and snorkel with them.
  • Reef snorkel: a boat trip from West Bay to see coral and colorful fish, with a ride along the West End coast.
  • Glass-bottom boat: the reef without getting wet. Perfect for small kids and grandparents.
  • Pigeon Cay: out to the island's east end to swim in shallow water with harmless nurse sharks, with an island lunch.
  • Cayos Cochinos: protected islands about 45 minutes away by boat, with some of the clearest water in the Caribbean.
  • Sunset catamaran: the north shore with drinks, snacks and a snorkel stop. Great for couples.
  • Parasailing and sport fishing: for something different.

Wildlife

  • Sloth and monkey sanctuary: meet sloths, white-faced monkeys and macaws up close.
  • Nature park in West Bay: an insectarium, a museum, a hanging bridge among monkeys and iguanas, plus pool and beach access.

Adventure

  • Zipline: 11 to 13 lines over the forest with sea views. Ages 10+.
  • ATV tour: off-road trails with Caribbean lookouts. Ages 12+.
  • All-in-one: island tour, zipline, zoo, snorkeling and a beach day in a single day.

Island and culture

  • Mangroves and Punta Gorda: mangrove tunnels by boat and the island's oldest Garifuna community.
  • The island end to end: the lighthouse, rum cake, craft chocolate, West End and a seaside lunch.

How to combine them

  • As a couple: morning snorkeling and a sunset catamaran on another day.
  • As a family: dolphins, sloths and the glass-bottom boat.
  • For thrill seekers: zipline and ATVs the same day, Pigeon Cay the next.

Frequently asked questions

How many tours fit into a 4-night trip?

Two or three is about right: one on the water, one in nature and, if you like adrenaline, a zipline or ATV. That still leaves time for the beach.

Do tours include transportation?

Most include transfers from West Bay and West End hotels, and several also pick up at the cruise pier. We confirm it in every quote.

Which tours are good for kids?

The glass-bottom boat, the sloth and monkey sanctuary, the dolphin encounter (ages 3+) and the West Bay nature park are great for families.

Can I take tours if I arrive by cruise ship?

Yes. We time everything so you are back at the ship early. If you just want the beach, we also have day passes.
