Qué incluye y qué no

East End: naturaleza y calma

An all-inclusive is the easiest way to enjoy Roatán: you arrive, leave your wallet in the room and only choose between the beach and the pool. The island has just a few resorts with this plan, each with a very different personality. These are the ones we know, have booked and recommend.

What is included and what is not

Each hotel sets its own plan, but all-inclusive in Roatán generally works like this:

  • Included: breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks, unlimited house drinks, pools, beach, loungers and hotel activities.
  • Usually extra: diving, tours outside the hotel, spa, premium drinks and some restaurants or beach clubs within the same resort.
  • Transfers: some include them from the airport or ferry and some don't. We confirm it in your quote.

The all-inclusive resorts we recommend

West Bay: the island's most famous beach

  • Henry Morgan Resort: on the sand at West Bay, with daily activities, evening shows, a kids club and its own dive center. The liveliest option and a family favorite.
  • Mayan Princess Beach & Dive Resort: spacious villas with kitchen and balcony, four restaurants, five bars, a lagoon pool and a kids club. Its San Simón and Calketts beach clubs cost extra.
  • Las Sirenas by Mayan Princess: the quieter side of Mayan Princess, with roomy suites and the same all-inclusive plan. Ideal for West Bay without the bustle.

East End: nature and calm

  • Media Luna Resort: cabins among tropical greenery on a private bay, with snorkeling and kayaks off the beach and two pools. Diving is run by outside operators at extra cost.
  • Turquoise Bay Dive & Beach Resort: overwater bungalows and bar, a lagoon pool, a palapa spa and a PADI 5 Star dive center with uncrowded sites.

For divers: a dive package

  • Splash Inn Dive Resort (West End): its regular stay includes breakfast, but it offers a 7-night all-inclusive dive package, with its own boat and more than 150 dive sites nearby.

Which one to choose?

  • As a family: Henry Morgan or Mayan Princess, for the kids club and activities.
  • As a couple, in peace: Media Luna or Las Sirenas.
  • To dive: Turquoise Bay or the Splash Inn dive package. Planning a honeymoon? See our guide to honeymoon hotels in Roatán.

Frequently asked questions

Does all-inclusive include alcoholic drinks?

Yes, at every resort we recommend. Unlimited house drinks are the norm; premium drinks depend on the hotel and the plan you choose.

Is diving included?

At most resorts, no: it's paid separately to the dive center. If you plan to dive, ask us about stay-and-dive packages, which usually work out better.

Which all-inclusive in Roatán is best for kids?

Henry Morgan and Mayan Princess, which have a kids club and a kids pool. Media Luna also has a kids pool and a very calm beach.

How many nights do you recommend?

Between 3 and 5 nights. Three is enough to rest; five lets you add a tour or two without rushing.
